Dr. Bryan Dawkins, MD

After many years of hospital-based practice, Dr. Bryan Dawkins recognized the need for a primary care physician who focuses on proactive health rather than reactive treatment. He envisioned a practice dedicated to preventive care and the non-pharmacologic management of chronic diseases—one where patients feel heard, supported, and empowered to take control of their health.

With this mission in mind, Dr. Dawkins founded Impact MD to serve individuals who often feel overlooked by the traditional healthcare system and are searching for a more personalized, patient-centered approach to care.

Professional Experience

Dr. Dawkins is a board-certified family physician with more than 12 years of experience as a hospitalist in South Florida, as well as central and southern Mississippi.
He currently serves as:

  • Vice President of Hospitalist Services, EHS at Lakeside
  • Hospitalist Medical Director, Lakeside Medical Center (Health Care District of Palm Beach County)
  • Faculty Member, Lakeside Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program
  • Clinical Educator, teaching medical students from Florida Atlantic University and Nova Southeastern University

Practice Manager

Kayla serves as Practice Manager at Impact MD, where her background in management and passion for health and wellness naturally came together in the healthcare industry. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and is passionate about creating a personalized, welcoming experience for every patient who walks through the doors.

At Impact MD, Kayla enjoys being part of a practice that takes a comprehensive approach to health and wellness. Her passion for helping others live healthier, more confident lives extends beyond the office through her work as a Pilates instructor and her lifelong background in fitness. Her foundation in fitness began as a competitive gymnast, which sparked a lasting passion for movement, strength, and overall wellness.

Outside of Impact MD, Kayla enjoys staying active, spending time at the beach, and traveling.

Karleel, known as Coach K, is a certified personal trainer and nutrition specialist through ISSA and NCEP. With over 5 years of experience, he has helped clients achieve meaningful, lasting results through strength training, nutrition, and sustainable lifestyle changes.

Coach K believes that fitness is about more than just reaching a number on the scale. His approach focuses on building strength, confidence, healthy habits, and the mindset needed to maintain results for the long term. Whether the goal is losing weight, gaining strength, or simply feeling healthier and more confident, he is passionate about helping each client become the strongest version of themselves.
